Srushti Vichare is a skilled Controls Engineer and Machine Learning expert with more than three years of experience in instrumentation and controls, software development, data analytics, and machine learning. Currently, she works as a Controls Engineer at Wes Tech Automation in Chicago, where she focuses on programming FANUC robots and developing control sequences for PLCs. Previously, at TOYO Engineering Pvt., Ltd, she played a crucial role in the digitalization team for automating processes that optimized project timelines and costs. At Cummins, she worked as a Data Analyst, optimizing ETL processes and developed Power BI dashboards to enhance decision-making through data visualization. She graduated with a Master of Science in Engineering Technology from Purdue University, specializing in machine learning and Natural Language Processing. Her expertise includes Python, C, SQL, and ladder programming. Her work is characterized by a strong focus on practical solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in engineering projects.
Dr. Gaurav Nanda is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering Technology at Purdue University with a focus on Industrial Engineering Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and his Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. He teaches courses in the areas of Supply Chain, Operations Management, Human Factors, Warehouse and Inventory Management, and Lean and Sustainable Systems. He works on research problems involving Applied Machine Learning, Text Mining, and Intelligent Decision Support Systems with applications in Safety, Industry 4.0, Healthcare, Learning Technologies, and other areas.
Dr. Raji Sundararajan is a Professor at Purdue University. She obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, in 1993; an M.S.E.E. in High Voltage Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, India, in 1988; and a B.S.E.E. (Honors) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras, India, in 1981. Her research interests include biomedical engineering and AI applications in health and medicine.
