Qingxin Zhao received his Ph.D. in materials science from Southeast University in 2007 and his M.Sc. in engineering mechanics from Yanshan University in 2002. He has served as the dean of the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, Yanshan University since December 2019. He presided over three National Natural Science Foundation projects, and as the first finisher, he won 2 third prizes for scientific and technological progress in Hebei Province and 1 third prize for teaching achievements in Hebei Province. He has been authorized with more than 10 invention patents and published more than 60 academic papers in top industry journals.
