Muhammad Younas is a lecturer at the School of
Engineering, Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen, UK. His research is
focused on conventional and non-conventional manufacturing, machining
characteristics and performance of metals and alloys, and sustainable
production. He is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and his research
interests lie in the development of sustainable manufacturing practices,
optimization of manufacturing processes, reduction of energy consumption, and
enhancement of the environmental performance of products and processes. He
holds a Ph.D. in Design and Manufacturing from the National University of
Sciences and Technology. He is a member of the Pakistan Engineering Council.
