Claudia Editt Tornero Becerra is a Ph.D. student in Production Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil). She has a Master’s in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil) and a Bachelor's in Production Engineering from the Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo (Bolivia).

Fagner José Coutinho de Melo is an Adjunct Professor at UPE-Salgueiro and a permanent faculty member for the Master’s course in Sustainable Local Development Management at UPE-FCAP. He received his PhD in Production Engineering (PPGEP) from the Federal University of Pernambuco in 2020. He is the leader of the Quantitative Methods for Decision Making-MeQuanTD research group. He has a degree in Administration from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2012), a postgraduate degree in Quality Management and Productivity from Faculdade dos Guararapes (2014), and an Academic Master’s Degree in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He has experience in the areas of production management, quality management, sustainability 4.0, competencies 4.0, and decision making.

Larissa de Arruda Xavier is a Professor at the Universidade do Estado do Amapá (UEAP/Brazil). She holds a Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil). She has a Master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil) and a degree in Food Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pará (UFPA/Brazil).

André Philippi Gonzaga de Albuquerque has a Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil). He has a Master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil). He has a degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil).

Aline Amaral Leal Barbosa is a Professor at the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG/Brazil). She completed a Post-doc. and Ph.D. in Production Engineering at the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil). She has a degree in Economics from the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG/Brazil).

Lucas Ambrósio Bezerra de Oliveira is a Professor at the Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido (UFERSA/Brazil) and holds a Ph.D. in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE/Brazil). He has a Master’s degree in Production Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN/Brazil). He earned a degree in Business Administration from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN/Brazil). His research area focuses on quality management and strategy in organizations.

Raíssa Souto Maior Corrêa de Carvalho is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculdade de Ciência da Administração de Pernambuco, Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE) and a Technician/Professor at Secretaria de Educação de Pernambuco (SEE-PE). She is a Researcher as part of the Research Group in Planning and Analysis of Operations and Production System (PLANASP/UFPE), GEIPLDLS/UPE, and COLETIVO/UPE. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in 2013, a Master’s degree in 2018, and a Doctorate in 2021 in Production Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). She has experience in the areas of operations engineering, production processes, and quality engineering. Her research interests include management, strategic management, quality, and analytical statistics.

Denise Dumke de Medeiros is a Professor at Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (Brazil) and she is the head of PLANASP. She holds a ph.D. in Production Engineering from INPGrenoble (France). She has been a visiting researcher at Université du Quebec à Trois Rivières (Canada). Her research focus is quality management, mainly with an emphasis on quality management systems, quality in services, and evaluations of consumer satisfaction.
