Dr. Alexis Rodríguez is a full-time Research Professor at the Environmental Research Laboratory, Biotechnology Research Center, Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM). He has a bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering and a master’s degree and Ph.D. in Biochemical Sciences from the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM). His research has focused on environmental biotechnology applied to the microbial degradation of pesticides, bioremediation of polluted sites with xenobiotics, and waste management. Dr. Rodríguez has published different internationally indexed articles, books, and book chapters.
