Dr. Dheerendra Prasad is a Professor at Radiation Medicine and Neurosurgery, Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences and Medical Director at Radiation Medicine, Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He completed his PhD studies in Neurosurgery at the Institute of Medical Sciences, and has been awarded the Compassion and Respect Award, Roswell Park (2009), Top Doctor in America 2011 (2010), Best Doctors in America Radiation Oncology 2009-2010 (2010), etc. He is also a member of the Congress Of Neurological Surgeons, International Society of Neurosurgical Inventors, AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumors, North American Skull Base Society, American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO), American College of Radiation Oncology, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, American College of Radiology, etc. His research specialties include Gamma Knife Radiosurgery: International Expert in the field of Gamma Knife Radiosurgery—more than 7500 patients in personal series.
