Dr. Wenqiang Sun is currently a lecturer at the College of Animal Science and Technology, Sichuan Agricultural University. He received his master’s and doctoral degrees in Animal Genetics, Breeding and
Reproduction from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2014 and 2019, respectively. From 2018 to 2021, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in animal medicine at the University of California, Davis. His main research interests include dairy cattle genetic breeding and CRISPR-Cas9-based genome-targeted editing.
Prof. Shiyi Chen is an associate professor at the College of Animal Science and Technology, at Sichuan Agricultural University. He received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Sichuan Agricultural University in 2004 and 2009, respectively. His research interests are molecular genetics and breeding of cattle and rabbits.
