Dr. Gaetano Gargiulo received his M.S.-equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering with Biomedical specialization from the Federico II University of Naples in 2006 and his Ph.D. in Biomedical Instrumentation and Biomedical Data Analysis from the Alma Mater Studiorum, University of Bologna, in 2010. He started his academic career as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the MARCS Institute in 2015; he was promoted to Research Professor in 2023. Dr. Gargiulo's research focuses on cardiovascular monitoring, inverse modeling, brain–machine computer interfaces, biomedical data analysis, fetal monitoring, and biomedical instrumentation. He is an inventor with several PCT patents and has co-authored more than 100 peer-reviewed papers to date.
