Dr. Naveed Ahmad is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. He obtained his postgraduate degree (MPhil) in Biotechnology from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan and a PhD in Crop Biotechnology from Jilin Agricultural University, China. Dr. Ahmad is occupied in studies on oil crops (like soybean and safflower) omics, molecular breeding, and the development of oil body bioreactor systems. His team is mainly working on plant stress physiology, plant molecular biology, and gene editing technologies. His research interests encompass plant biotechnology, breeding and genetics, plant physiology, plant molecular biology, plant biochemistry, plant genetic engineering, plant genomics, and bioinformatics.
