Youjin Shin is an assistant professor in the Department of Data Science and the Department of Artificial Intelligence at the Catholic University of Korea, South Korea. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, USA. She also holds an M.B.A. in IT and Media Management from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and a B.S. in Computer Science from Ewha Womans University, South Korea. She has published research papers at top-tier conferences and journals, including WWW, KDD, CIKM, SAC, and Applied Soft Computing. Her research focuses on AI-based data science, time series data analyses, and medical AI.
