Prof. Dr. Debin Kong is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the University of Science and Technology, Beijing. Before that, he worked at this university as a lecturer from 2019 to 2022. He studied for a Ph.D. at the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) from 2015 to 2019. After obtaining his Ph.D., he entered the University of Science and Technology in Beijing for postdoctoral research from 2019 to 2021. He also serves as a member of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Expert Committee in the Beijing Energy and Environment Society, is an Advanced Geo-Energy Researcher, a Young editorial board member of "Oil and Gas Reservoir Evaluation and Development" and "Subsurface Exploration and Exploration", and is guest editor-in-chief of Front Energy Res. and Processes. His research interests include fluid flow theory with engineering applications, carbon dioxide geological storage and utilization (CCUS), and geo-energy development theory and technology.
