Dr. Zeinab El-Sayegh is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Automotive and Mechatronics Engineering, Ontario Tech University. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering at Ontario Tech University. She received her Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Concordia, Montreal. Formally, she worked at Volvo Group Trucks Technology Gothenburg, Sweden as a vehicle analyst. And, as a combustion analyst in Siemens aero-derivative gas turbines, Montreal. Her research interests are related to on-road and off-road vehicle design, autonomous and hybrid electric vehicle simulation. She is involved in research related to tire-terrain interaction in cooperation with Volvo Group Truck Technology and NSERC.
Dr. Jing Ren is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical, Computer and Software Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Ontario Tech University. She graduated with a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Shandong University, China in 1993. She then received her MSc and PhD in  Electrical Engineering from University of Western Ontario in 2003 and 2005. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Robarts Research Institute from 2005-2006. She obtained her MBA from Schulich Business School, York University in 2018. Her research interests include haptics and virtual reality, robotics and control, image processing and soft computing.
Moustafa El-Gindy is a Professor of Automotive Engineering at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Oshawa, Canada. He is also an adjunct professor at the University of Concordia, Ain Shams University and Clemson University. He is a former Senior Scientist, the Director of the Vehicle Dynamics and Simulation Research Center and a Graduate Faculty Member at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) of Penn State University.  He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Heavy Vehicle Systems. He serves as a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and former Chair of its Vehicle Design Committee. Dr. El-Gindy is an expert in heavy vehicle dynamics, tire mechanics, military wheeled vehicles, and crash simulation and testing. He has numerous publications in both international conferences and journals. He and his graduate students’ technical papers were the recipients of the best paper awards in 2005 and 2010 from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Also, he has received prestigious awards from the US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for his outstanding research work in 1997 and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) for organizing a Heavy Vehicle Rollover short course in 1993.
