Prof. Dr. Tianle Xu is an Associate
Professor and Master's Supervisor at the Agricultural Science and Technology
Development Research Institute at Yangzhou University. He studied for a Ph.D.
degree at Nanjing Agricultural University from 2015 to 2018. After obtaining
the Ph.D. degree, he entered The Third Medical School of Charles University
Prague, Czech Republic for Postdoctoral research. From 2014 to 2015, he went to
the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural and Livestock Biology, Germany as a
visiting scholar. From 2016 to 2017, he went to the College of Animal
Sciences (UIUC) at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in the United
States as a joint PhD candidate. In addition, he is a professional member of the American Dairy
Association (ADSA) and a reviewer for journals such as Animal Nutrition,
Frontiers in Veterinary Science, and Research in Veterinary Science, etc. His
research focuses on the pathogenesis and prevention mechanisms of mastitis in
dairy cows, as well as the regulation of dairy diets and hepatic fatty acid
metabolism.
