Prof. Carlo Antonini holds a BSc in Aerospace Engineering (2004) and an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering (2007) from the Politecnico di Milano, and a PhD in Technologies for Energy and Environment from the University of Bergamo (2011). In 2012, he worked at the Polytechnic University of Zurich (ETH Zurich) in Switzerland. In 2015, he joined EMPA - the Swiss Federal Laboratory for Materials Science and Technology. Since 2017, he has been the scientific director of ApiTech. In September 2018, he joined the Department of Materials Science at the University of Bicocca-Milan (Italy) as a senior researcher (RTDb), supported by a Rita Levi Montalcini fellowship. Since 2021, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Materials Science, University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy.
