Academic and Professional Background: Dr. Soo-Jin Jeong received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea, in 1993 and 2001, respectively. His journey began as a research engineer at KG Mobility Co., where he honed his skills and deepened his understanding of automotive technologies. Following this, he served as a professor in the Department of Automotive Engineering at Hanzhong University, Korea. This role allowed him to mentor future engineers and contribute to groundbreaking research in the automotive field. Current Position and Research Interests: Currently, he is honored to work at the Korea Automotive Technology Institute. Here, his research focuses on computational fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, and combustion engine technologies fueled by clean gas fuels such as DME, LNG, and liquid hydrogen. These areas are crucial for developing sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions, which he believes are essential for the future of our planet.
