Dr. Namshik Han is a computational drug discovery scientist, coming from a background in machine learning, computational biology, cancer genomics, and cancer epigenomics. He is the Head of Computational Research & AI at Milner Therapeutics Institute in the University of Cambridge and also an associate faculty member of the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine. Artificial Intelligence technologies that deal with the uncertainty and complexity of biological datasets to reveal novel disease pathways and mechanisms. Current projects within his lab include identification of new therapeutic targets in a variety of diseases, stratification of patients to improve personalized medicine, prediction of efficacy and safety of new and existing drugs, and identification of drug (re)positioning opportunities.
