Eyyup Seven holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Yildiz Technical University and is pursuing a PhD in Air Transportation. He started his career working on dam projects before transitioning to airport infrastructure, where he advanced to Deputy Construction Manager, focusing on enhancing safety and efficiency. Currently, he oversees maintenance for critical assets like runways and terminals at Istanbul Airport. His research on airport planning and capacity combines academic and practical expertise.
Currently, he is a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at Yildiz Technical University's Faculty of Civil Engineering. Dr. Yardım teaches courses in Highway Engineering, Highway Design, Railway Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Highway Pavements, Concrete Roads and Airport Pavements, Urban Transportation Systems, and Public Transit Transfer Center Design within the undergraduate program. In the graduate program, he teaches courses in Transportation Planning, Transportation Operations, and Parking Planning and Management, as well as supervising thesis research.He has established two research laboratories within the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Yildiz Technical University, Davutpaşa Campus. He is currently responsible for the YTU Road and Bitumen Laboratory and the YTU Traffic Control Center and Intelligent Transportation Systems Laboratory.His scientific research focuses on highway engineering, traffic engineering, parking planning and management, parking customer behavior analysis, urban transportation planning, public transportation systems, traffic congestion pricing, transportation issues in Istanbul's historical peninsula, flexible highway pavements, and airport pavement management systems. His work has been presented in numerous publications across various scientific meetings, and he is involved in both completed and ongoing research projects.
