Girts Stana received Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Riga Technical University in 2013 and 2014, respectively. He completed his doctoral thesis defence in 2024. He is a researcher at the Institute of Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Energy at Riga Technical University. His main research interests are related to energy storage systems and electrical engineering.

Kaspars Kroics received his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Riga Technical University in Riga, Latvia in 2018. He is a senior researcher at the Institute of Industrial Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Energy at Riga Technical University. His main research interests are switch-mode power converters, electrical drives and digital control.
