Mariana Anginho Évora is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon. She holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology (Iscte, 2019) and a master's degree in International Studies (Iscte, 2022). Since 2020, she has been involved in various research projects, primarily in the field of health, though not exclusively. Currently, she works as a research assistant at the Laboratory of Social Studies on Birth (nascer.pt) at Iscte, funded by a grant from the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. Additionally, she is an associate researcher with the RERDSA Group of INER at the University of Antioquia in Colombia.
