Dr. Qiuyue Liu received her bachelor's degree from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology in 2004 and her doctorate from China Agricultural University in 2009. She conducted postdoctoral research at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging in California from 2009 to 2012. She has been working at the Beijing Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences since 2012. She is currently an associate professor, mainly engaged in the research of genomics and molecular regulatory mechanisms of important economic traits of domestic animals, and is currently a key expert on the genetic breeding innovation team of mutton sheep.
