Author Biographies

MOHAMED A. FKIRIN (Life Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in automatic control and computer engineering from Birmingham University, U.K., in 1986. He has been a Professor with the Department of Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, since 1995. He is the author or co-author of more than 88 articles. His current research interests include intelligent control systems, predictive control, and networked control systems.
Zeinab Mohamed Nasr Gowaly received the B.Sc. degree in Industrial Electronics and Control Engineering from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, Menoufia, Egypt 2009. She has been an Engineer, in consulting offices in the United Arab Emirates, Electrical Department, in the designs of fire alarm and firefighting systems (since 2012). Her current research interests include control systems and renewable energy systems.
Emad A. Elsheikh received the B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University, Menouf, Egypt, in 2003, 2009, and 2016, respectively. He has been an assistant professor with the Department of Industrial Electronics and Control, Faculty of Electronic Engineering, Menoufia University Menouf, Egypt, since 2016. His current research areas of interest include intelligent control, visual servoing, robotics, Deep learning, and Embedded systems.
