Prof. Dr. Dacheng Wang is a Senior Engineer (Level 1) at the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Institute of Remote Sensing and Digital Earth, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. He worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS, Peking University from 2011 to 2013. He is a Member of the Youth Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a visiting scholar of the Connecticut Engineering Space Engineering Center. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in agriculture from Shanxi Agricultural University, Shanxi, China in 2004 and 2007 respectively, and his Ph.D. in agricultural remote sensing and information technology from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in 2011. He has been engaged in the scientific research and engineering implementation of spatial information technology in regional environments and urban informatization for a long time.
