Prof. Guanchen Xu is an Assistant Researcher at the Institute of New Materials, Shandong Academy of Sciences. He received his PhD from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shandong University, where he studied from 2010 to 2015. Afterward, he joined the Department of Chemistry at Tsinghua University as a Postdoctoral Assistant Researcher. His main research areas include the preparation of two-dimensional semiconductor materials and their optical and electrical properties, the chemical vapor deposition preparation of two-dimensional transition metal chalcogenide materials, and the design and research of field-effect transistors and optical devices based on these materials.
