Shi Pu was born in Wuhan, China, in 1983. He received a B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT), Wuhan, China, and another in computer science from Wuhan University (WHU), Wuhan, China, both in 2005. In 2011, he was granted a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), Beijing, China. In 2011, he joined the faculty of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China, as a lecturer. From 2012 to 2013, he worked as a research fellow at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. In 2015, he was promoted as an associate professor at the Department of Physical Science & Technology, School of Physics & Mechanics (School of Science), Wuhan University of Technology, Wuhan, China. His main research interests are railway environmental EMC, mm-wave/THz-wave antenna/circuit devices, wireless power transfer coil/circuit systems, etc.
