Adrian Stancu is a full professor at the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Economic Sciences, Petroleum-Gas University of Ploiesti, Romania. He completed his PhD studies at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Sciences, Romania, and his postdoctoral studies at the Romanian Academy. He has published 75 papers in journals and conference proceedings, four books, and 11 book chapters. He is an associate editor and reviewer of international journals (Routledge, MDPI, and IGI Global). He has received two awards the Best Researcher in 2024. His interests include food and non-food science, product quality and forgery, consumer behavior, consumer protection, and artificial intelligence and IoT applied in economics.
