Sherif Abdel-Misih is a Clinical Professor of Surgery and Director of General Surgery Residency at the Renaissance School of Medicine in the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He received his MD from Thomas Jefferson University. Then, he completed his Residency Training in a General Surgery Internship and Residency at the Cleveland Clinic and his Fellowship Training in Surgical Oncology at Ohio State University and the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital. His research interests include appendiceal cancer, metastatic colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, peritoneal surface malignancies (appendix, colon, gastric, peritoneal mesothelioma), sarcoma, and hepato-pancreatico-biliary cancers.
