Dr. Emilio Sanjurjo received his degree in mechanical engineering and his Ph.D. degree from the University of La Coruña, Spain, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. From 2018 to 2019, he has combined a part-time Professor position at the University of La Coruña with his dedication to research projects, and was promoted to a full-time position in December 2019. In March 2021, he became Assistant Professor. His work deals with the experimental validation of multibody car models and the development of state and input observers for ground vehicles.
Prof. Dr. Miguel Ángel Naya graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1996 from the University of Vigo (Spain). He started Ph.D. studies at the University of La Coruña in 1996 where, simultaneously, he was allowed to work on the research project entitled “Methods for Intelligent Real-Time Simulation of Multibody Dynamics”, funded by the U.S. Army Research Office. He became Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at the same university in 1998 and, after obtaining his Ph.D. degree in June 2007, achieved the position of Associate Professor in 2009. His research is focused on the application of multibody dynamics to the simulation and control of vehicles and machinery at the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory of the University of La Coruña.
