Dr. Solène Grayo is the leader of Biodiversity and One Health group (BiOH) at the Institut Pasteur de Guinée. After completing her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University Rennes, she received a PhD in Microbiology from the University Paris (Denis Didrot-Paris7) and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the CNAM-Pasteur School in Paris. She carried out various research projects on emerging infectious diseases in the Pasteur Network (IP New Caledonia and IP Shanghai) before joining the Institut Pasteur de Guinée in 2020. Her research interests are emerging viral infections and zoonoses. She currently focuses on viral hemorrhagic fevers and rodent-borne diseases in West Africa. Doctor Grayo is a member of the "Société française de Virologie" (SFV) and "Société Française de Microbiologie" (SFM). She received the "Femmes en tête 2024" honor from the Collège des Sociétés Savantes Académiques de France.
