Muhammad Haroon Siddiqui received his Master of Science in Geography from the University of Karachi in 2003. Later, he received his Master of Science in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems from COMSATS University, Islamabad in 2012. He worked as a Scientific Officer at the Global Change Impact Studies Center (2005–2012). In 2012, he moved to the Center of Excellence for Climate Change Research, King Abdulaziz University, and worked as a Lecturer (2012-2023). Currently, he is working as a GIS Expert at the Climate Change Center, National Center for Meteorology. His research topics mainly include:  Remote Sensing, Geographic Information Systems, Climate, Climate Change, Dust, Aerosols, AOD, LULC, Cryosphere, Extreme Events, Floods, and Flash Floods.
