Prof. Dr. Geraint A. Wiggins is a professor of Computational Creativity at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and Queen
Mary University of London, UK. He received PhD degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Musical Composition from the University of Edinburgh. Prof. Dr. Wiggins was one of the founders of the research field of computational creativity, which provides an alternative approach to the simulation of intelligent and creative human activities on computers. His research mainly centers on generality, covering computational linguistics, computational logic, computational modeling of music perception and cognition, and computational creativity.
