Prof. Dr. Jun He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Animal Nutrition, Sichuan Agricultural University. He is a Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor. He received his M.S. degree from the School of Animal Medicine, Nanjing Agricultural University, in 2005 and his Ph.D. from the Institute of Animal Nutrition, Sichuan Agricultural University, in 2009. In 2003, he was an exchange student at the Institute of Agricultural and Animal Biology in Germany. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Umeå, Sweden, from 2009–2011. Moreover, he is also the director of the Animal Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medical Association; the executive director and deputy secretary general of the Animal Nutrition and Feed Branch of the Sichuan Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medical Association; and the director of the Sichuan Feed Industry Association. His research topics mainly involve the efficient utilization of feed nutrients and disease-resistant nutrition.
