Arthur
Germano Fett-Neto is Full Professor of Botany at the Center for Biotechnology
and Department of Botany, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS,
Brazil) since 1999. He holds a B.Sc. in Biology (UFRGS), a Master´s in Plant
Physiology (UFV, Brazil), and a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry
(University of Toronto, Canada). He was a postdoctoral fellow at Dartmouth
College (USA) in the field of Plant Molecular Biology. His current research is
in the fields of Plant Physiology and Biotechnology. Ongoing projects involve
the regulation of plant specialized metabolite production and control of
adventitious rooting, both of which mainly in tree species.
