Prof. Xiao-Bo Qiu received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Anhui Normal University in 1984, his master’s degree in vegetable science from Zhejiang Agricultural University/the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences in 1989, and his doctorate in molecular pharmacology and toxicology from the University of Southern California in 1996. He was a research
fellow at Harvard Medical School from 1997 to 2005, a staff scientist at the Burnham Institute for Medical Research from 2005 to 2006, and a professor at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences/Peking Union Medical College from 2005 to 2008. He has been a professor at the Department of Cell Biology, School of Life Sciences, Beijing Normal University since 2008.
