The author graduated from Veterinary Medicine at the State University of Santa Cruz (2018) and holds a Master's degree (2020) and PhD (2024) in Animal Science from the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science from the same institution. She was a scholarship holder in the Veterinary Anesthesiology Teaching Project (ICB) and participated in Scientific Initiation by the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) following research in the area of Veterinary Anesthesiology, focusing on pain management in small animals. In addition, she participated in the Education through Work for Health/Health Surveillance Program (PET Saúde-VS), funded by the Ministry of Education and Health and was a Scientific Initiation scholarship holder at CEPLAC, funded by FAPESB. She has experience in immunohistochemistry techniques and real-time PCR. She is currently a Postdoctoral student in Animal Science in the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science at UESC.
