Dr. Wendi Xu is a Lecturer at the School of Biological Science and Engineering, North Minzu University, Yinchuan, China. She earned her Ph.D. at Northeast Forestry University in 2018. She was awarded the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Northeast Forestry University in 2018. Her research focuses on plant molecular breeding.
Prof. Yufeng Ren is a Professor at the School of Biological Science and Engineering, North Minzu University, Yinchuan, China. She earned her Master’s degree at the China Agricultural University in 2005. From 1988 to 2004, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Ningxia Forestry School. Her research focuses on the response mechanisms of trees under abiotic stresses.

Prof. Dr. Jun Zhou is a Professor at the College of Biological Science and Engineering, North Minzu University, Yinchuan, China. He earned his Ph.D. at Nanjing Agricultural University in 2010. From 2004 to 2017, he worked as a Professor at the Southwest Forestry University. His research field focus on (1) the collection of apple germplasm resources and the identification of resources resistant to psyllids and powdery mildew; (2) research on molecular regulatory mechanisms of fruit quality formation, focusing on the influence of ecological factors on quality; (3) the breeding and cultivation of pear; and (4) research on the molecular mechanisms of the regulation of anthocyanin synthesis in pear and wolfberry flowers.
Prof. Dr. Zhanlin Bei is an Associate Research Fellow at the School of Biological Science and Engineering, North Minzu University, Yinchuan, China. He earned his Ph.D. at Nanjing University in 2022. From 2001 to 2007, he worked as a Research Assistant at the Ningxia Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. His research focuses on greenhouses and plant genetics.
