My name is Denisa Piele, and I am a university assistant and Dr. in Physiotherapy. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Craiova, within the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports, Department of Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine. I continued my academic journey with a master's program and then pursued doctoral studies. During my Ph.D. years, I developed a strong interest in scientific research, a field that continues to be an important part of my professional activity. Currently, I divide my work between the University of Craiova, where I am involved in both teaching and research, and "Sfântul Nectarie" Hospital in Craiova, where I coordinate the rehabilitation team, primarily focusing on the recovery of oncological patients. I am also a member of the working group within the Romanian Society of Medical Oncology, where I contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols designed for cancer patient rehabilitation.
