Author Biographies

CHAFIK BOULEALAM (chafik.boulealam@usmba.ac.ma ) received his master's degree in computer science from the Department of Computer Science, University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree at the same university. His research topics mainly include machine learning and deep learning, with a particular focus on object detection and classification in images and videos.
HAJAR FILALI (hajar.filali4@usmba.ac.ma ) received her master's degree in computer science from the Department of Computer Science, University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree at the same institution. Her research focuses on machine learning and deep learning.
JAMAL RIFFI (jamal.riffi@usmba.ac.ma) is a professor of computer science at the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. He is a member of the LISAC Laboratory and specializes in data mining and deep learning. His primary research areas include text mining, cybersecurity, image mining, medical image analysis, and bioinformatics.
MOHAMMED ADNANE MAHRAZ (adnane_1@yahoo.fr ) obtained his Ph.D. degree in computer science in 2013 from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Morocco. In 2014, he joined the same university as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Sciences of Fez. He earned his Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR) in 2019 for his work on image and video sequence analysis. He is a member of the LISAC Laboratory and his research interests include image processing, motion estimation, and video processing.
HAMID TAIRI (hamid.tairi@usmba.ac.ma) received his Ph.D. degree from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University, Fez-Atlas, Morocco, in 2001. In 2002, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher with the Image Processing Group at the Laboratoire d’Electronique, Informatique et Image in Auxerre, France. He is currently a professor at the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco, and a member of the LISAC Laboratory. His research interests include visual tracking for robotic control, 3-D reconstruction in artificial vision, medical image analysis, visual information retrieval, and pattern recognition.
