Gil Atzmon graduated in Population
Genetics from Hebrew University, he completed his fellowship in Human Genetics
at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he then joined as a faculty and
rose to the rank of Associate Professor. Gil Atzmon is a Professor of Human
Biology at Haifa University in Israel, where he runs the Laboratory of Genetics
and Epigenetics of Aging and Longevity. The foremost focus of his entire
research career has been the understanding of the association of the whole
genome to disease, performance, health, and longevity. Since 2001, Gil Atzmon
has focused on the human genome and its impact on aging and longevity.
