Prof. Juan Wang currently works as a Professor at the School of Water Conservancy and Transportation, Zhengzhou University, China. She is also a member of the Numerical Simulation Committee of the China Society for Dam Engineering and a member of the Dam Concrete and Rock Fracture Mechanics Committee of the China Society for Dam Engineering. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Construction, a Master's Degree in Hydraulic Structure Engineering from Zhengzhou University, and a PhD in Hydraulic Engineering from Tsinghua University. Her research directions are the intelligent construction of hydraulic structures and the micromechanics of composite materials.
Prof. Yu Hu currently works as a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Hydroscience and Engineering, Tsinghua University, China. He obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering and a PhD in Hydraulic Structures from Tsinghua University. His research fields are intelligent construction of dams, research on the real performance of concrete and rock materials, research on safety monitoring and simulation analysis of high dams, and research on deformation failure mechanisms and deformation control of high dams. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the China Hydraulic Engineering Society Roller Compacted Concrete Dam Construction Professional Committee and the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Hydraulic Engineering Society Hydraulic Structure Professional Committee.
