She worked as a professor at Mokwon University (2012-present). She has a Ph.D. and researches the safety and effectiveness of cosmetics. She is currently working as a professor in the Department of Cosmetics at Mokwon University. We mainly research natural cosmetic ingredients using skin cells and alternative animals.

Ji-A Byeon received her bachelor’s degree in cosmetic science from Kyungsung University and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in the Department of Cosmeceutical Science at the same university. Her research focuses on the functional evaluation of natural ingredients, particularly their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, whitening, and anti-wrinkle activities.

She is currently a professor in the Department of Cosmetics at Daegu Haany University. She obtained a Ph.D. in Cosmetic Pharmacology and conducts in vitro and in vivo experiments to analyze the efficacy of cosmetics using natural ingredients. She has published numerous SCI papers, registered several patents, and has been actively involved in technology transfer to cosmetic companies.

Dr. Yong-Jin Kwon is an assistant professor in the Department of Cosmetic Science at Kyungsung University. His research focuses on the pharmacological activities of natural products, including their anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, skin-whitening, anti-wrinkle, and antimicrobial effects. He actively explores the application of these bioactive compounds as effective and functional ingredients in cosmetics.
