Xiaolei Wu received his bachelor's degree in agriculture from the Henan Agricultural University in 2011, earned his master's in agricultural water resources and environment from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science in 2016, and is now pursuing doctorate-level studies in agricultural water–soil engineering from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science. He has worked as a scientific and technical employee at the Institute of Farmland Irrigation of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science since 2016. His research topics mainly include winter wheat, regulated deficit irrigation, water and nitrogen management, and others.
