Prof. Dr. Ying Huang currently serves as a professor
at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou,
China. She received her bachelor’s degree from Anhui Normal University in
Electronic and Information Engineering and her PhD in Electronic and
Communication Engineering from Zhejiang University, working in the EPIC Laboratory
under the supervision of Professor Chu Tao. Prior to her PhD study, she worked
as a research assistant at the Intelligent Technology Research Institute of
China Electronics Technology Group Corporation. Her research focus lies in
optical computing, silicon-based photonic neural networks, silicon-based optical
switch arrays, and silicon-based integrated optoelectronics.
