Permanent Faculty Member of the Graduate Program (Stricto Sensu) in Sustainability at PUC-Campinas. Member and leader of the Research Group “Organizations, Society, and Sustainability.” Conducts research in the areas of climate change and the environment, sustainable development and sustainability, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), corporate social responsibility, and public policy. Faculty member at the School of Economics and Business at PUC-Campinas, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Holds a Ph.D. in social sciences. Former member of the Pedagogical Support Group (GAPe/COGRAD/PROGRAD) in 2014–2015. Coordinator of the Research and Extension Center (NUPEX) of the Center for Economics and Administration at PUC-Campinas (2009–2014). Director of the School of Economics at PUC-Campinas (2002–2006). Member of the Structuring Teaching Core of the School of Economics (2014–2021). Member of the Advisory Board of the Graduate Program (Stricto Sensu) in Sustainability at PUC-Campinas (since 2022). Member of the Research Ethics Committee for Human Subjects at PUC-Campinas (since 2024).
Professor and researcher with extensive experience in sustainability, working in the Graduate Program in Sustainability at PUC-Campinas. He has a multidisciplinary background, including a bachelor's degree in social sciences (UNICAMP), a specialization in social work and social project management (FMU), a master's and doctorate in sociology (UNICAMP), and a postdoctoral degree in international relations (Autonomous University of Lisbon, Portugal). He leads and develops high-impact research projects on socio-environmental sustainability indicators for water resource management, the social and solidarity economy, vulnerable communities, and the Amazon. As Vice-Coordinator of the Technical Chamber for Integration and Dissemination of Research and Technologies (CT-ID) and Coordinator of the Working Group on Water Resource Indicators and Monitoring of the PCJ Basin Committees, he actively implements public policies and sustainable practices.
