José Trinidad Guillén Bonilla received his PhD at the Centro de Investigaciones en Óptica (C.I.O.), where he worked on new texture extraction techniques and algorithms. And he received his master's degree at the Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada (C.I.C.E.S.E.). There, he worked on optical fiber sensors. José Trinidad Guillén Bonilla is an engineer in computer electronics and certified in automated control and industrial instrumentation. Both qualifications were obtained at the Centro de Enseñanza Técnica Industrial (C.E.T.I.). His areas of interest are in the field of instrumentation, signal processing, sensors, visual systems, and pattern recognition.

Antonio Casillas Zamora is an engineer in Communications and Electronics from the University of Guadalajara (his thesis obtained an honorable mention by CANACO in 2006 in the annual thesis contest for university theses). At the same university, he obtained a Master of Science degree in the area of MEMS (microelectromechanical systems). Within his professional activity, he has experience in the industry and in the academy (in the area of languages and engineering, in the electronics area of the Electronics and Computing Division of the University Center for Exact Sciences and Engineering. August 2011 up to the present). He has participated as a mentor in the User Innovation: A Path to Entrepreneurship workshop through the Office of Digital Learning of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as in the Educational Innovation and Pedagogical Transformation workshop by the same institution. He participated in the Teaching through English in Undergraduate Programs workshop at Educlaster Findland, University of Jyvaaskyla, as well as in the Designing for the Summit V Process I workshop via the workshop for learning the MEMS (micro-electro-mechanical) structure design tool, taught by Sandia National Laboratories. Currently, he has a PhD in Materials Sciences and he has more than 6 international scientific publications in his areas of interest. He is an IEEE member.
