Lu Xie has been Vice Director/Professor, and Principal Investigator at the Institute of Genome and Bioinformatics, Shanghai Institute for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Technologies, since December 2021. She worked at the Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Technology from 2005 to 2021 and was Vice Director for 10 years. She obtained her Ph.D. from XiangYa School of Medicine, Central South University, China. She was a postdoctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University, USA for five years. Her team has constructed more than 20 databases and bioinformatics software tools. She is a committee member of the Shanghai Society of Bioinformatics. Her work fields involve cancer omics data analyses and integration; tumor neoantigen and immunotherapy; artificial intelligence; and clinical decision-making.
