Author Biographies

Ms. Evaline Chepng’etich is a dedicated academic and researcher with a strong background in agribusiness, agricultural education, and climate-smart agriculture currently a Tutorial Fellow at Kenyatta University in the Department of Agricultural Economics, School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.  She is presently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agribusiness Management, and she holds a Master of Science degree in Agribusiness Management, a Bachelor of Science degree, and a Diploma in Agricultural Education and Extension. Her research interests lie in the intersection of agribusiness, climate change adaptation, smallholder livelihoods, and value chain development. Her scholarly output has been published in peer-reviewed journals addressing various topics in climate change, adaptive capacity, and technical efficiency and she has presented her research at regional and international conferences. Through her excellence and commitment have competitively she been selected to participate in several prestigious fellowships and also received research grants. She is an active member of the African Association of Agricultural economics professional networks and passionate in empowering communities through building sustainable agricultural systems that are inclusive, resilient, and economically viable for smallholder farmers, especially in the face of climate variability and socio-economic challenges.
