Prof. Akash Gupta is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director of the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution at Jindal Global Law School, O.P Jindal Global University and a Visiting Faculty at NLSIU Bengaluru, where he teaches arbitration. Appointed to the Young IAMC Steering Committee (2025–2027), he is an alumnus of TNNLU and Stockholm University (LL.M.). He attended the Paris Arbitration Academy and the Hague Academy on full scholarship and sponsorship, respectively. Named “Young ADR Academic of the Year” in 2023, he has 10 Scopus-indexed publications. He regularly judges competitions like Vis and Jessup, conducts workshops across India, and serves on editorial, peer review boards and advisory boards of leading ADR journals.
Harsh Mahaseth is an Associate Professor at Jindal Global Law School, Associate Director of the Nehginpao Kipgen Center for Southeast Asian Studies, and Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, O.P. Jindal Global University, India. He has also served as Assistant Dean at O.P. Jindal Global University and has taught as a visiting faculty at NALSAR University of Law and Mahindra University. Recognized among the Top-Cited International Law Scholars in India by the Indian Blog of International Law, Harsh is noted alongside leading legal luminaries in the country. He specializes in Public International Law, with a particular focus on Asian Legal Studies across South and Southeast Asia. Harsh holds an LL.M. in Asian Legal Studies from the National University of Singapore and a B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) from NALSAR University of Law, India. He further earned a Diploma in International Affairs and Diplomacy from the Indian Institute of Governance & Leadership, as well as a Diploma in Freelance and Feature Writing from the London School of Journalism. A prolific scholar, Harsh has authored over 60 peer-reviewed international journal articles and more than 175 publications in leading international newspapers, magazines, and academic blogs. His contributions have been recognized through multiple honours, including the Award for Research Excellence, the Best Research Scholar Award, and the Emerging Scholar Award.
Prof. Arushi Bajpai is an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School and Research Fellow of the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution at Jindal Global Law School, O.P Jindal Global University. She holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from NUSRL, Ranchi, and an LL.M. in International Criminal Law from the University of Kent, UK. She also completed a prestigious summer course in Public International Law at The Hague Academy of International Law. Her research interests include International Criminal Law, Criminal Law, and Public International Law. At JGLS, she teaches core courses like Indian Penal Code and Code of Criminal Procedure, along with electives such as Appellate Litigation before the Supreme Court of India and Policing to Prison and the Gaps Within. Prof. Bajpai has practical experience in public interest litigation assisting Adv. Kamal Krishna Roy in several PILs concerning women's security, food wastage, and slum welfare and notably filed Arushi Bajpai & Others vs. Union of India & Others at the Allahabad High Court. Her scholarly accomplishments include a full scholarship to the 2024 winter course at the Hague Academy of International Law and numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
