Professor Katarzyna Nowomiejska is a full professor in the
Department of General and Pediatric Ophthalmology at the Medical University of
Lublin. She graduated from the Medical University of Lublin in 2000 and earned
her Ph.D. in 2005. Her research focuses on ocular trauma, retinal detachment,
retinal dystrophies, vitreoretinal surgery, complications of diabetic
retinopathy and cataract surgery, and optical coherence tomography.
