Dr. Ajla T. Wasti is a consultant in Paediatric and TYA Oncology (sarcoma and rare tumours) at the Children and
Young People’s Cancer Services, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK. She obtained an MSc in Experimental and Translational Therapeutics from the University of Oxford and is in the process of working towards an MD(Res) from the Institute of Cancer Research in Sutton, UK. Dr. Wasti's comprehensive training includes a residency in Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She has led and co-authored numerous studies on molecular profiling, targeted therapies and treatment outcomes for paediatric sarcomas and brain tumours.
