Prof. Dr. Nita H. Salzman is a Professor of Pediatrics
in the division of Gastroenterology, Director of the GI Clinical Laboratory,
and also holds a secondary appointment in the Department of Microbiology and
Molecular Genetics at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She received her MD and PhD in Cell Biology from the New York University School
of Medicine. Her research interests include inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal
colonization, antimicrobial peptides, innate immunity and paneth cell.
